Who we are

A local company that builds fences the hard way

The Fence Company is a local fence contractor serving North Mississippi and the Memphis area. We don't try to build the cheapest fence. We focus on the parts that decide how a fence performs years after installation — posts, framing, gates, materials and the quality of the installation itself.

Our story

Built from the jobsite up

The Fence Company grew out of hands-on construction experience — not out of a sales office. Working on job sites made one thing obvious: fence installation was usually treated as the fastest, cheapest task on the property, and it showed a few seasons later in leaning posts and sagging gates.

So we built the company around doing it as real construction. Better installation systems. Crews trained on a repeatable process. Materials and upgrades chosen for how they hold up, not just for how quickly a job can be closed out.

Today we run a professional installation operation for homeowners, builders and commercial customers across North Mississippi and the Memphis area — and the standard is still the same one we started with: build it so it's still right years from now.

Why us

Why homeowners choose us

Steel-post installation option

Our driven-post system sets galvanized steel posts approximately 40 inches into the ground in applicable installations.

Metal-framed gate upgrade

Customers can upgrade their wood gate with a welded metal frame designed to add strength and help reduce sagging over time.

Quality materials

Cedar, heavy-gauge aluminum, privacy-grade vinyl and commercial chain-link — chosen for the job, not for the lowest bid.

Experienced crews

Professional fence installers focused on clean, consistent workmanship.

2-year no-questions-asked workmanship warranty

If our workmanship isn't right within two years of installation, we'll come back and make it right.

Residential & commercial

Homes, subdivisions, builders, businesses and other appropriate fence projects.

How we build differently

Built different from the ground up

On applicable installations we offer a driven steel-post system: galvanized steel posts driven approximately 40 inches into undisturbed soil instead of being set in a dug concrete footing.

We offer it because the post is the part of a fence that has to do the work. Driving into undisturbed ground keeps the posts tight, keeps fence lines clean and avoids the wood-in-concrete detail that causes so many replacements.

Gates

A better gate option

Gates take the most abuse on any fence, so we offer a welded metal gate frame as an upgrade. The wood you see is the same as the rest of the fence; the frame behind it is steel, built to add strength and help the gate resist sagging.

This is an upgrade, not something automatically included with every fence — just ask for it when we quote your project.

Finishing

Staining options

Staining is an option on wood fences, not something included by default. Wood fences can be left natural and unstained, or you can add a stain package when we quote the project.

If you'd like a finished look, tell us during the estimate and we'll walk you through the available colors and what's involved.

Our crews

The people behind the fence

Every fence we build is installed by our own local crews. These are real photos from real installations across North MS and the Memphis area — the same people who will be on your property.
