Wood Fence Installation

Wood Fence Installation in North MS & Memphis

Privacy and curb appeal, built in custom styles — cedar or pine, driven steel post options, metal gate frame upgrades and expert staining.

Choose your wood fence style

Every wood fence starts with a style decision, and each one lives differently on a property line. See them before you read about them.

Choose your wood

Three woods, three price points. All three are installed the same way — the difference is grain, color and budget.

Cedar gives you tight grain, natural rot resistance and a finish that holds its color once it is stained. Pine is the budget option and holds up well when it is treated and stained. We walk through the trade-offs on site so the choice is yours, not a default.

Why our wood fences are different

Wood fences fail at the post and at the gate. We build both differently.

The Fence Company crew driving a galvanized steel fence post approximately 40 inches into undisturbed soil

Driven Steel Post Option

Our driven-post system sets galvanized posts approximately 40 inches into the ground, eliminating the need for a traditional dug concrete footing in applicable installations. Undisturbed clay grips harder than a poured footing, and steel does not rot at the ground line the way a wood post does.

Metal-Framed Gate Upgrade

Upgrade your wood gate with a welded metal frame designed to add strength, help the gate stay square and reduce sagging over time. The frame carries the load instead of the pickets. It is an available upgrade rather than a standard inclusion.

Premium Wood Options

Cedar or treated pine — you pick the material after you see the grain, not from a line item on a contract.

Staining Options

Pre-stained cedar arrives sealed on all four sides before it is installed. Green or wet lumber has to dry first, so we post-stain those jobs. We will tell you which one your wood needs.
